Laughing at something can make it less powerful, so why not poke fun at climate change? If we give enough people enough poking sticks, maybe we can deflate the thing completely.
Our Approach: LOL
Picture someone angry. Now picture someone laughing. Aside from a few cartoon villains, these two things don’t usually go together. Disarm someone with a laugh and any knee-jerk defensiveness or avoidance goes out the door.
If you can get them to laugh, they already like you, and in this happy place they’ll be much more receptive to new ideas.
Before they’re even aware of it, they’ll be learning everything there is to know about the climate movement. Which is all part of our diabolical plan. (cue maniacal laughter)
